Sakshi Chaudhary, Komalika Bari Reach Finals At World Archery Youth Championships
Bari, who is among the young Indian archers is already a part of the senior set-up. The 19-year-old player is a former Under-18 champion and will look to add the Under-21 crown on August 15.
World Archery Youth Championships 2021: Komalika Bari is currently competing for gold in the recurve junior women match held on August 12 while Sakshi Chaudhary made it to the final for individual junior women in Wroclaw, Poland.

Bari, as well as Chaudhary, reached their respective finals at the World Archery Youth Championships on Thursday.
Bari, who is among the young Indian archers is already a part of the senior set-up. The 19-year-old player is a former Under-18 champion and will look to add the Under-21 crown on August 15.
On the other hand, 18-year-old Chaudhary who is in the compound junior women’s category beat the top seed Dafne Quintero in the quarterfinal to pave her way to the gold medal match scheduled for August 14.

Chaudhary made it into the headlines by securing the eighth position at the compound junior at the World Youth Archery Championships women’s individual.
The archer from Ghaziabad recently revealed that she did not even have her own arrows for the competition and that she had participated in the trial by borrowing arrows from her friend
The Indian team had earlier combined for a total of 2067 to better the previous world record by 22 points in the competition, for the cadet compound event. The team comprised Priya Gurjar, Ridhu Senthilkumar and Parneet Kaur.
Gurjar shot 696 to take the individual top seed in the cadet compound event while Kaur (third) and Senthilkumar (fourth) were the next best Indians.
Gurjar had reportedly also combined with Kushal Dalal who managed a 705, for a mixed pair tally of 1401. The same broke the previous mark held by the Danish duo of Natacha Stutz and Mathias Fullerton who hit 1387.
