Indian women’s hockey team is keeping their winning streak unbroken as they sweep another one at the South Asian Games 2016. In a match against Sri Lanka held at the Tayabullah Hockey Stadium, Bhetapara in Guwahat, India won with 10 goals while Sri Lanka could not even score a single goal.
The women’s team led by Ritu Rani was in the mood of attacking and did not stop striking with Rani scoring the first goal right in the second minute of the first half. She then scored another one in another two minutes of the first goal. She became the top scorer with four goals scored including one in the 47th minute and another in the 56th minute. Saundarya Yendala scored top second with two goals clinched, fourth and the ninth in the total of 10 goals.
Apart from them, Preeti Dubey, Poonam Burla, Deepika and Jaspreet Kaur scored one goal each at the eighth minute, 29th minute, 31st minute and 70th minute respectively.

Indian team has been going strong with the winning golds in all the hockey matches at the SAG. Even in other women’s games, Indian team has been succeeding winning gold majorly.
