Russian Man Arrested For Keeping Woman As Sex Slave For 14 Years

In a chilling revelation that has sent shockwaves across the nation, a man in Chelyabinsk, western Russia, has been arrested for allegedly keeping a woman as a sex slave for a harrowing 14 years. 

Identified as Vladimir Cheskidov, 51, the man is also accused of a gruesome murder that took place within the confines of his house.

Russian Man Keeps Woman As Sex Slave 

According to a report in New York Post, the woman, now 33 years old, claims she endured captivity since 2009, facing relentless rape over 1,000 times. Her nightmare finally came to an end when she managed to escape and sought refuge with the authorities.

The woman, known only by her first name Ekaterina, recounted her horrific ordeal to the police, revealing the grim details of her captivity. 

She asserted that Cheskidov subjected her to repeated torture and brutal beatings for minor infractions.

As the investigation unfolded, local media reports revealed that Cheskidov's mother played a critical role in Ekaterina's escape from her nightmarish confinement. According to Ekaterina's harrowing testimony, she was allowed out of the bedroom only under the threat of a knife to perform household chores. 

The disturbing allegations of sexual abuse, coupled with physical and mental torment, paint a harrowing picture of the brutality she endured.

A search of Cheskidov's one-storey house in Smolino village led to the discovery of a horrifying collection of sex toys, muzzles, and CDs containing explicit pornography, further highlighting the extent of his depravity.

In a shocking turn of events, the local branch of Russia's Investigative Committee confirmed the discovery of human remains in the basement of Cheskidov's house.

As per Russia Today, Cheskidov met Ekaterina when she was just 19 years old in 2009. He lured her to his house under the pretence of "drinking alcohol," and from that moment on, she found herself entrapped in his clutches.

While the motive behind Cheskidov's heinous acts remains unclear, reports indicate that he suffers from a mental illness. Recently, his condition deteriorated, leading to his hospitalisation, which presented Ekaterina with a chance to escape from her living nightmare.*

Ekaterina also revealed a tragic incident involving another female prisoner whom Cheskidov brought into the house. 

After a heated quarrel in 2011, Cheskidov allegedly murdered the woman, stabbing her multiple times and using a nail puller to end her life.

As the chilling details of this horrifying case come to light, Cheskidov now faces grave charges of murder, rape, and kidnapping. Currently placed under police supervision at a mental institution, the arrest of Vladimir Cheskidov has left the nation in shock and has opened a disturbing window into the dark depths of human cruelty.
