On The Ground took approximately 71 days to reach the 100 million streaming milestone. Besides being the fastest debut song to reach the million milestone, the solo debut track is also the fastest song to hit 100 million streams by any Korean female soloist in Spotify history.
Rosé is not new to making records with her new solo debut album. The Black Pink member has set two Guinness World Records with her debut single On The Ground for being the first artist to reach number one on a Billboard Global chart as a solo artist and as a part of a group. She also holds the record for having the most viewed music video on YouTube as a Korean solo artist within 24 hours. This record was previously made by PSY in 2013 with his worldwide hit song Gentleman. The record also remained unbeaten for eight long years before Rosé’s new achievement.
Black Pink as a group has also broken the YouTube record for the fastest video to cross 1.3 billion views on the platform with their music video Kill This Love which was released in 2019. The previous record was also made by them with their music video of DDU-DU DDU-DU. It took the group a total of two years, one month, and seventeen days to make this new record.
