Rose from Blackpink, an all-girls K-Pop band, is all set to make her solo music debut next month, as per reports. Earlier on January 25 this year, Rose, whose full name is Roseanne Park, had shared a 30-second teaser for a "solo project" that stands at over 38 million views.
Rose's solo debut comes following her singing-mate Jennie's, who had broken records when she first debuted without the other three Blackpink girls in 2018. Their label, YG Entertainment, has previously said that all four group members would embark on solo projects.

Rose from Blackpink to treat fans to solo music
In January, Rose had performed one track called Gone off her solo album at Blackpink's online concert. A week ago, she even shared stills of herself, guitar in hand, captioning the post 'Gone.' The style of music on Rose's album is expected to be vastly different from what Blackpink usually performs.
In the singing group's Netflix documentary, Light Up The Sky, Rose had said, "When I'm in my room by myself and... try and write something, I think I'm way more intimidated then. Cause it's me, I don't know if my opinions are right and that scares me."
Blackpink recently collaborated with pop sensation Selena Gomez for the song Ice-Cream. 2021 too looks busy for the group with each of its members - Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose - prepping for exciting projects.
While Rose from Blackpink preps for a solo debut, here's what the other girls are up to
While Jennie made her YouTube debut on her 25th birthday, reports suggest Lisa could also be making her singing debut alongside Rose, as previously stated by their music label.
Jisoo, meanwhile, is all set to star in K-drama Snowdrop, which has already drummed up much excitement after her announcement of joining the project.
