In line with all the great album releases in 2020, musician Ringo Starr is all set to release an album titled Zoom In featuring contributions from Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney, and Finneas.
The former Beatles drummer recorded the album at his home studio due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Starr said that he worked on the five-song album from April to October and the album is scheduled to release in March next year on Universal.
In an interview, Starr told the reason for zeroing down upon Zoom In as the title for the album. He said, The record is called Zoom In, because we’re on Zoom. Everything I do is on Zoom. I just thought it was so relevant to the days we’re living in right now. New Year’s Eve, they’ll all sing along with us, we hope. It’s a five-track EP, and I know what EPs are. I had a huge collection of EPs."
