Rhiti Tiwari, singer-songwriter and the daughter of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Manoj Tiwari joined the saffron party on May 4. Speaking to the Press Trust of India, the 22-year-old expressed that she had not expected this feat at least for another 10 to 15 years. Tiwari called it 'God's plan' and said she would ensure not to disappoint anyone. "I was not aware of God's plan. I didn't think it, would happen today or anytime soon. I thought this was in the cards for me, probably after 10 to 15 years. But president sahab (JP Nadda) saw something in me. Now I will make sure I do not disappoint anyone," she said.
Who Is Rhiti Tiwari?
Rhiti Tiwari is the daughter of Manoj Tiwari and Rani Tiwari. She told the Press Trust of India that she is a singer and songwriter and is also passionate about social work. The 22-year-old said that she is working at a non-profit organisation.
Rhiti lives in Mumbai with her mother. According to her LinkedIn, she graduated from the esteemed Narsee Monjee Educational Trust's - Jamnabai Narsee School. She also works at a marketing firm called Rhiti Group, founded by her uncle, Arun Pandey.
While Rhiti made her political debut on May 4, she has been an active part of her father's journey, often seen alongside him while campaigning. She is also active on social media and exudes a promising and fresh career in politics.
Although Rhiti's parents are divorced, she maintains a close relationship with her father's new family. In 2021, Manoj Tiwari said that it was Rhiti who pushed her father to get remarried. She also reportedly named his newborn baby.
"There is no kadvaahat (bitterness); we are absolutely fine with each other. I was very tense when I separated from Rani in 2010 at her insistence," Manoj Tiwari told ET Times when asked about his relationship with Rhiti's mother.
