Rhea Chakraborty Back On Insta After Six Months, Posts Women’s Day Pic For Mom

Rhea Chakraborty Instagram post: Actor Rhea Chakraborty, who was accused of abetment to suicide following the death of her ex-boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a special post for her mother on Instagram. This is her first post in the last six months.

Making it a Women's Day special post, Chakraborty called her mother her "strength". The actor shared a picture where we can see her holding her mom Sandhya Chakraborty's hand. The post read as, ''Happy Women’s Day to us ..Maa and me .. together forever ... my strength, my faith, my fortitude - my Maa."

Sussanne Khan, Shibani Dandekar and several others have dropped several heart emoticons with one user writing, ''Welcome back to insta @rhea_chakraborty''. Another one commented, ''Lots and lots of love, happiness, strength and power to you."

A criminal case was registered against Chakraborty in August last year and on September she and her brother were arrested and the NCB had labelled the actor as an “active member of drug syndicate”. She was released on a bail on October 7. Her mother Sandhya, who is a former schoolteacher and now a homemaker, had earlier said that she worries about her daughter's mental health. Sandhya had told TOI, “I’ll have to put her on therapy to help her get over this trauma and reclaim her life.”

She had further expressed that her daughter has to recover from the “slander” first. She stressed that Chakraborty had gone through enough of this nightmare, of “being lynched” by the country. She is also aware that a long legal battle still awaits. “While it’s a relief she’s out of prison, it’s crazy it’s still not over.”

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has recently filed a charge sheet mentioning Chakraborty and 33 others in an alleged drug case. Her advocate Satish Maneshinde said, ''All efforts of NCB have been directed towards Rhea Chakraborty to somehow rope her in.''
