Priyanka Chopra on Victoria's Secret: After the international lingerie company announced the removal of the 'angels' with "real" women with a background story, the Bollywood and Hollywood actor shared the news of her being hired for the same on June 18 on her social media, "It’s crucial for us to show everyone ALL over the world that they matter and are seen," she said.
The US lingerie giant signed Priyanka Chopra, American soccer star Megan Rapinoe and others to replace the brand's hypersexualized models in an attempt at rebranding. These models, who were called the angels, were under scrutiny for their embodiment of male fantasy rather than an accurate representation of what women seek in undergarments.

She added, "It’s been so incredible to see your reactions to yesterday’s announcement. It’s fuelled me further and I am excited to bring about meaningful change at one of the worlds most iconic brands. I’m so proud to be in the company of the Collective of incredible women that will help this change"
