Singer Reba McEntire's cameo appearance in the latest film 'Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar' has indeed made fans excited. She tweeted about it too and attached a teaser of the film too.

In the film, she plays the role of a water sprite named Trish. She is the one who 'saves the day' by saves the leading characters Barb and Star from drowning. It seems that both the Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wiig, the lead actors and screenwriters of the film wanted McEntire for the role. Wiig and Mumolo even write a letter to her to convince her to take up the offer.
"I know you’re going to be surprised, but this is the first time I’ve ever played a sea spirit," says McEntire. "I just wanted to know where, when, and what am I going to wear?"I was so ready and excited to do it."
