Rajasthan Woman Stabbed For rejecting Marriage Proposal: A 21-year-old Rajasthan woman was allegedly stabbed on July 26 after rejecting a man's marriage proposal in Rajasthan's Tonk district, as per reports. The woman's mother was attacked as well when she was trying to rescue her daughter.

A woman, along with her mother was admitted to SMS hospital in Jaipur in critical condition after they endured severe injuries from an alleged attack from a man.

According to reports, the accused was identified as Aasif and he allegedly had an affair with the survivor for some time.

According to Kotwali police station House Officer Jitendra Singh, the 22-year-old accused entered the woman's rented house and stabbed her severely.

When the survivor's mother rushed to rescue her daughter, the accused hit her as well.

The mother and daughter both were severely injured following which they were taken to a district hospital. They were later transferred to SMS hospital in Jaipur in critical condition, Singh added.

The report added that the police have constituted a team to nab the accused.
