Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot on Friday sacked his minister of state Rajendra Gudha. The termination came hours after he questioned his government on women's safety in the state assembly.

Gehlot terminated state Minister Rajendra Gudha who held charge as Minister of State for Sainik Kalyan (Independent Charge), Home Guard and Civil Defence, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development.
On Friday Rajasthan state assembly held a discussion of Rajasthan's Minimum Incom Guarantee Bill 2023 which was disrupted by Congress leaders who had stormed the assembly and held placards of the Manipur case of May 4.
In the state assembly discussion, raising questions on his own government Gudha said Rajasthan has failed to provide security to women as the atrocities against women in the state have increased, instead of raising the issue of Manipur, we must introspect.

While on Gudha's remark, a Congress leader commented that as far as he knows if a minister speaks, he speaks for the whole government and that he has exposed the government.
Hours after Gudha cornered his own government, Raj Bhavan made an announcement that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had recommended expelling State Minister Rajendra Singh Gudha while Governor of State Shri Kalraj Mishra has considered and accepted the recommendation of CM Gehlot.
On expulsion, Gudha said that he was not at all surprised and had zero expectations from the government, saying that he is not against discussing what happened in Manipur, but what the people of Rajasthan have been witnessing, talking about women's condition in Rajasthan, Gudha raises the question that how it can be right.
