The minor girl was dragged by the hair for declining 47-Year-Old's Marriage Proposal. She was allegedly attacked with a sharp-edged weapon on the road in the Gudhiyari area of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, as per police. The incident took place on 18 February, Saturday. The 16-year-old girl was stabbed multiple stab times and dragged by her hair. The local police launch a probe into the incident after the incident went viral on a social media platform.

Delivery Agent Arrested For Harrassing 30 Women Over Internet
Cybercrime in increasing. A 27-year-old delivery agent was arrested in Pune for cyberbullying women. The accused over video call harassed over 30 women, doing obscene acts. Mumbai police arrested the accused from Pune. As per police, the man used to join WhatsApp groups after seeing job opportunities on Facebook. Post-joining, he used to make obscene video calls or send photos to WhatsApp numbers displayed with a woman's picture.
Foster Mother-Nurse Tortured 7-year-old Girl, Arrested
A 50-year-old nurse alleged abuse and torture of a 7-year-old girl. The school teacher noticed scars and injury marks on her body, and that is when the girl was rescued. The teacher informed the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), and a case was registered at the RK Puram police station. The accused nurse, who illegally adopted, said she beat the child to “straighten her out” for not taking studies seriously and watching cartoons. The accused's 27-year-old biological son, who was also reportedly involved in abusing the girl. The woman was arrested in Haridwar on 16 February.
Renuka Singh Shines, Make Records Against England
Fast bowler Renuka Singh rewrote the record books as she took five wickets in the match against England in India's Women's T20 World Cup. England managed to put up a target of 152 for India to chase. However, it was difficult to stop Singh's wicket-taking bowling. The 27-year-old ended the innings with figures of 5/15.
