Meet Radha Dhir, Former Group President At Yes Bank Now Appointed As CEO Of JLL India

Radha Dhir has made a lot of buzz by becoming the next CEO of JLL India which is a global real estate consulting firm. On Tuesday, the company issued a statement saying that Dhir has taken over the job after India CEO and Country Head Ramesh Nair announced his resignation.

India CEO Ramesh Nair is leaving JLL to pursue opportunities outside the firm. He is succeeded by Radha Dhir, an experienced financial services executive, who has held senior leadership positions in Deutsche Bank India and Yes Bank,” said JLL

The CEO of JLL Asia Pacific Anthony Couse expressed that he hopes that Dhir who doesn't hold a real estate background will be able to take the 'business to the next level' with her skills and expertise. He also praised Ramesh Nair for being a great asset to the firm during his tenure of two decades. It is said that Dhir will start working by January 25 and will be a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Board. Besides that, she will also be leading the India Leadership Council.

Radha Dhir has a lot to boast about. Here's what we know of her:

  • Radha Dhir completed her graduation in Commerce from Sri Ram College of Commerce. She then completed her MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
  • She joined Deutsche Bank as a graduate trainee in 1995 and then went on to become the first woman and youngest Managing Director of Deutsche Bank India in 2008. She was also a member of Deutsche Bank India Executive Committee.
  • She then moved onto Yes Bank where she was the Head of Multinational Corporate Banking. She eventually became the Group President of Yes Bank.
  • Radha has amassed over 25 years of experience in the field of banking.
  • After leaving Yes Bank, she opened her own YouTube and Podcast channel called ZipTalks which has the content of fitness, health, nutrition, etc. She also owns a blog named ziptofitness.com
  • Besides achieving a lot in the Banking sector, Radha Dhir is also a talented Indian classical singer.
