An FIR has been lodged against two girls from Kolkata for mocking India’s National Anthem. According to reports a video of them singing the National Anthem while sitting and with a cigarette in hand has been widely circulated on social media. Reportedly, the two girls are minors.
Following this, an FIR was lodged against the two girls for mocking the National Anthem at the Barrackpore cyber cell on Sunday.
Quack selling medicine guaranteeing 'baby boy' arrested
A team of the health department in Gurgaon along with police caught a quack who was selling medicine that guaranteed the birth of a baby boy in the Badshahpur area on Monday, officials said.
The accused, identified as Mohammad Yameen, was arrested from outside a temple, they said.
According to the health department, a complaint was received that a person is selling medicine in the Arya Samaj Mandir in the area.
Gurugram woman duped of ₹2 crore by man posing as pilot
A 61-year-old Gurugram woman was duped of at least ₹2 crore allegedly by a man, whom she befriended on social media, on the pretext of sending her expensive gifts and foreign currency, police said on Tuesday.
An FIR has been registered at the cyber crime police station, Manesar, under Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act against unidentified people, said police.
Cardi B Posts Controversial Tweet After Dalai Lama Viral Video
Singer Cardi B posted a controversial tweet, days after a video of Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama went viral on social media. In her tweet, the rapper talked about predators and the need to talk to children about boundaries. While some have agreed with the singer, others asked her to be cautious with the choice of words.
"Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people with money, power & our churches. Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn't allow people to do to them," the singer tweeted on Monday.
