Queen Elizabeth II can now be taken home and kept on a shelf as a barbie doll. The Barbie Tribute Series, which was launched last year with a doll honouring actor Lucille Ball, has now introduced a model of the British Queen as she celebrates her 96th birthday and the Platinum Jubilee- celebrating 70 years of her coronation.
The Queen will be celebrating her birthday at her Sandringham estate this year, where she will be joined by her family and friends. She is reportedly going to be staying in the cottage which was liked by her late husband Prince Philip.
Recently, a photograph of the Queen with two ponies has released online. It marks her interest in horses. This image was taken at Windsor Castle, where she mostly stays. The two ponies will be appearing in the forthcoming Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Queen Elizabeth Barbie
Apart from the usual celebration, the Queen will be honoured with a Barbie doll that is modelled on her and will be going on sale from April 21. It is inspired by her most iconic look in an ivory gown and blue ribbon along with the decoration of order. The ensemble is completed with the Fringe Tiara that she wore during her wedding to Prince Philip.
The barbie comes under the tribute series which began last year. The first doll was a tribute to the iconic actress Lucille Ball, who was one of the comedic geniuses of her time and a legendary actor.
As per Mattel, the website on which the barbie is made available for sale, "Barbie celebrates the longest-ruling monarch in British history, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whose extraordinary reign has seen her lead with an immeasurable devotion to duty and a life of service. Reaching 70 years of service, Queen Elizabeth II becomes the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. This collectible doll wears an elegant ivory gown and blue riband adorned with decorations of order. A stunning crown and matching accessories complete her regal ensemble."
The barbie doll has been designed by Robert Best and costs $75.
