Meanwhile, the former champion Kidambi Srikanthfrom has been eliminated from the tournament after his defeat in men's singles semi-final by first seed Viktor Axelsen. The latter scored 21-13, 21-19 over the former in 41 minutes. On the other hand, the men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty will take on fifth seeds Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen in the upcoming men's doubles match.
