Priyanka Gandhi takes holy dip in Sangam: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took a holy dip in Sangam — a holy confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya. She also performed a puja and offered prayers too.
Gandhi also visited the Anand Bhavan, the home of the Nehru-Gandhi family, which has now been converted into a museum. She also paid her tributes to India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru at the spot where his ashes were kept before being immersed in Sangam.

The Congress leader was accompanied by her daughter, and Congress MLA Aradhana Misra throughout the trip. They also visited an orphanage and interacted with the children there.
Priyanka Gandhi At Saharanpur
A day earlier, Priyanka Gandhi had attended a Kisan Mahapanchayat in Saharanpur district in Uttar Pradesh amid the ongoing farmer protests. She has been showcasing her support for the farmers and criticised the government's three farm laws.
"In 1955 Jawaharlal Nehru enacted a law against hoarding, but this law has been abolished by the BJP government. This new law will help the 'billionaires' and they will decide the price of farmers' produce," said Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Priyanka Gandhi had recently visited the family of Navreet Singh, the farmer who had died during the tractor rally on Republic Day. However, on the way, four of her cavalcade cars collided with each other on Hapur Road. No injuries have been reported yet. Read more about it here.
Earlier in December Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other Congress leaders were reportedly taken into custody by the Delhi Police during a march to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to demand a repeal of the centre’s controversial farm laws.
