Priyanka Gandhi's Children's Instagram Account Hacked: The general secretary of the All India Congress Committee in charge of Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi alleged that her children's Instagram accounts were hacked. The centre has taken the step on its own, Priyanka Gandhi has not yet filed a formal complaint.
While she was on her campaign in Uttar Pradesh, she said that the government has lost its morality and added “They are even hacking my children’s Instagram accounts, let alone phone tapping. Do they not have any other work?"
After a suo moto complaint was lodged by the government, it was observed that there have not been any irregular activities on Priyanka Gandhi's children's Instagram accounts. The allegations by her were made just a few days after Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav accused the government of tapping his phone.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was accused of snooping on the phone conversations of his party leaders by the SP chief.
When Priyanka Gandhi was asked about Yadav's accusations she said "What is the duty of the government? To work for the people. They are tapping phones instead. Instead of doing your job, you are listening to phones of the Opposition.”
Priyanka Gandhi has two children who do not make regular public appearances: Miraya Vadra and Raihan Vadra who are eighteen and twenty years old, respectively.
Priyanka Gandhi recently launched the women's manifesto for the Congress party and promised to make education more accessible for the girls in Uttar Pradesh who passed 12th class, if her party comes to power.
“I’m hoping that this women’s manifesto will put pressure on other political parties to address similar issues. We want to start releasing a women-specific manifesto so that women can make their own decisions,” she said.
She has also raised the women's safety problem due to the increase in violent crimes against women in Uttar Pradesh.
