As Quantico airs its series finale, Priyanka Chopra, the female lead of the series took to Twitter to share her thoughts about her journey and to bid goodbye to her character, Alex Parrish.
Quantico holds a special place in Chopra's heart as the show gave her the opportunity to become the first South Asian actor to headline a major American network drama, reported Deadline.
In the series, which premiered on September 7, 2015 on ABC, Priyanka Chopra plays the role of an FBI agent Alex Parrish. Alex joins the agency after graduating from the FBI Academy and becomes a prime suspect in a terrorist attack on Grand Central Terminal. The thriller series had a three-season run at ABC and aired its final episode on Friday.

Priyanka pens an emotional message for fans
The actress shared photographs of her with her Quantico co-stars and in her note wrote, "Bringing Alex to life has challenged me physically and emotionally, but even more significant it has (I hope) cracked the door open for female talent and women of color to play leading ladies."

Priyanka Chopra had bagged the People’s Choice Award as Favorite Dramatic TV Actress in 2017 for her role in Quantico.

What next for PC?
Priyanka will now be seen in Cowboy Ninja Viking, a Hollywood project she is doing alongside Chris Pratt directed by Michelle MacLaren.
The 36-year-old actress will also be seen in director Shonali Bose's The Sky is Pink, a Bollywood movie with Farhan Akhtar and Zara Wasim.
The actress was recently in news for walking out of Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat' because of her rumoured engagement with American singer Nick Jonas.
