Director Pradeep Guha passed away on August 21. He had been suffering from live cancer and admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.
Actor Priyanka Chopra took to her instagram on Saturday to pay her tributes to the late director. She called him her "forever champion". In the post, Chopra added her old pictures with him along with a video interview clip. She said that the clip in which Guha is seen talking to camera was taken during her book, Unfinished's release.
Addressing her heartfelt note to Guha, the actor wrote, "Your random calls of encouragement, your zest for life and your ambition was something I have always admired so much. This loss is so personal."
She said that she has had a very few constants in her life and Pradeep Guha was one of them other than her parents. "You were one that I truly saw as my mentor," she wrote.
Priyanka Chopra added, "You saw something in me I never knew I had. You never shied away from reminding me on how I could be better. You always lead with charge."
"I’ve learned so much from you PG. With such a heavy heart I say a final goodbye to a huge constant in my adult life. I’ll miss the laughter, the gossiping, the stories, the encouragement. Will keep striving to make you proud.

The actor offered her condolences to Guha's wife Papia and his son Sanket Guha. She wrote, "Gone too soon. My love and condolences to Papia, @guhasanket and everyone whose life he touched. Love you and rest in peace PG."
Pradeep Guha was the managing director of 9X media Pvt Ltd. He had also worked in the news business for three decades. At the time, he was an executive officer at Times of India. Before holding MD post at 9X media, Guha was the CEO at Zee Telefilm. As a producer, one of his most iconic films was Fiza.
