Priyanka Chopra On Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women List

The badass Alex Parrish in American TV series Quantico, Bollywood’s Priyanka Chopra is ranked on Forbes List Of 100 Most Powerful Women, 2017.

The 35-year-old actor, who was recently seen in her first Hollywood project ‘Baywatch’, ranks 15th in the list of Most Powerful Women In Entertainment And Media.

With this achievement, Chopra now stands tall in a list with pop queen Beyonce Knowles, who is ranked fourth. Singer Taylor Swift is at 12 and author J.K. Rowling at 13.

In the full list of 100 names, Priyanka claimed the 97th spot. The list is led by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. While Beyonce is ranked 50 in this list, Taylor Swift ranks 85

The newbie in the Forbes List Of 100 Most Powerful Women, Priyanka, achieved the feat along with US President Donald Trump's entrepreneur daughter Ivanka Trump.

"Chopra is arguably the most successful Bollywood actor to cross over to Hollywood," a bio on Forbes’ site reads. It adds: "As the star of ABC's Quantico, she's one of TV's highest-earning actresses and the first Indian actor to lead a drama series on American television."

The Indian actress has been the talk of the town, gracing almost every red carpet. She debuted on Forbes list of top 10 Highest Paid TV Actresses in 2016. This year too, she is ranked 8th in the list.

Chopra was also ranked in Forbes' Bollywood's Top 10 Highest Paid Stars, male and female, securing number 7th position. Priyanka, with earnings of $10 million, was the only other female star along with Deepika Padukone to have made it to the list.
