After what is being called a historic win by the Indian Cricket Team against Australia in the Test series, social media has erupted in joy. Prithi Narayanan, wife of cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, also celebrated India's series win 2-1 on Twitter, but not without a smart quip. Referencing the sledging that had occurred between Australia captain Tim Paine and her husband earlier in the series, where the former had challenged the latter to a game in Gabba, Narayanan wrote: "SEE YOU AT THE GABBA MATE."
According to Indian Express, Paine had remarked, “Can’t wait to get you to the Gabba, Ash.” Ashwin followed it up by saying, “Just like we wanna get you to India, may be your last series.” After India defeated Australia at their Gabba fortress, Narayanan added that their two daughters had "gone a bit cray cray. Running up and down empty hotel corridors." She even shared a video of her child cheering the team on by the television.

Team India's win comes despite a raging onslaught of racism and sledging through the series, which has led many to especially hail the cricketers' undefeatable spirit. When the team earned a draw against Australia in the third test, with Ashwin widely lauded for his performance, Narayanan had revealed, "The man went to bed last night with a terrible back tweak and in unbelievable pain. He could not stand up straight when he woke up this morning. Could not bend down to tie his shoe laces. I am amazed at what @ashwinravi99 pulled off today."
