It's a vice that so many people have, so many laymen, so many lay women, and even priests and nuns." He continued saying, "And I'm not just talking about criminal pornography like child abuse, where you see live cases of abuse: that's already degeneracy. But of the more 'normal' pornography."
Praised sex as a gift from god
However, in April 2023, he praised sex as one of the most beautiful things given to humans by God. He also talked about masturbation saying, "To express yourself sexually is a richness. So anything that detracts from real sexual expression lessens you and depletes this richness."
