As per a senior police officer's statement, "Geeta Sharma, a resident of Panchseel Vihar in Malviya Nagar, was arrested a few days ago but released later, as she was booked for a bailable offence. She told the police that her son is a YouTuber and he made the video for his channel."

This came after her son, Gauravzone's arrest after the video posted by him sparked outrage on social media. The video had gone viral and people called out Sharma for animal cruelty. He was later released on bail. According to police, the Youtuber has been charged under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Disaster Management Act.

In one of the viral videos, Gaurazone is standing on top of a car with his toy pomeranian dog. He tied a hydrogen balloon to his dog's back and made him float in the air. The dog was seen reaching the second floor of a building. His mother was also seen cheering for him.

The clip now removed had garnered a massive response from his 4.15 million subscribers on Youtube. He had posted the video on May 21. Most people had criticised the act, some even called it a desperate attempt for content creation.

In a bid to explain himself, the Youtuber had claimed that he took " all safety measures" while recording the video.

Before making the video, I had taken all the safety measures. All I want to say is that I had made the video with all the safety measures… wrong content went out and it should not have happened. If sentiments have been hurt, I truly seek your apology," he had said.
