Pearl V Puri Undergoes Medical Examination After Being Sent To Judicial Custody

Pearl V Puri Rape Case: The Naagin 3 actor Pearl V Puri is accused of rape and molestation of a minor girl. The accused has been sent to a 14-day judicial after he was produced in a local court on Saturday according to a police statement. The official further stated that the accused is undergoing medical examination as per the investigation process of the case.

The 31-year-old Naagin actor Pearl V Puri has been booked under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The actor is accused of an alleged sexual assault on a minor girl according to a Police statement. The rape survivor's father filed a complaint in the Versova Police station in Mumbai. The rape survivor's mother also reportedly worked on the same serial as Pearl V Puri and hence the minor girl visited the sets often.

According to the Police statement, the case has been transferred to the Waliv Police for being in the judicial area of the shooting location. Further, the Waliv police arrested the actor Pearl V Puri along with five accused on Friday, June 4 due to his connection with the alleged rape case.

A close friend and colleague of the accused, Karishma Tanna claimed that Pearl V Puri has been granted bail. She wrote, "Satyamev Jayate. Truth wins and he did win. #gotbail @pearlvpuri #istandwithpearl #truthneverhides #pvp (sic)."

Though the bail order will be discussed on Monday, June 7. And till then the actor would stay in judicial custody. According to the latest developments in the Pearl V Puri rape case, the actor has been sent for medical examination.

Pearl V Puri is an actor and an ad model know for his work prominently in the serial Naagin 3 along with Surbhi Jyoti. He is also known for Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat and Phir Bhi Na Maane…Badtameez Dil.
