Paris Hilton Starts IVF Treatment: After being motivated by close friend Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton is undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) with boyfriend Carter Reum. The 39-year-old entrepreneur said recently that she wants to become a mother to "twins that are a boy and a girl". Hilton and Reum have been dating for a year now.
On an episode of The Trend Reporter with Mara podcast, aired January 26, Hilton revealed that her 39-year-old businessman boyfriend is being "so supportive" throughout the process.
Having a desire set on becoming a mother, Hilton said that she started looking into the IVF process because it was "the only way" she could ensure that she can have twins.
"We have been doing the IVF, so I can pick twins if I like," Hilton shared, explaining that it was Kardashian "who told me about that. I didn't even know anything about it." Hilton previously revealed that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who welcomed two children via surrogacy, had "inspired" her to freeze her eggs a few years ago.

"I'm happy that she told me that advice and introduced me to her doctor," Paris Hilton said.
The hotel heiress further shared that she has already completed the egg retrieval procedure and explained that she had to undergo the "tough" method "a couple of times".
"It was tough, but I knew it would be worth it. I did it a couple of times," she recalled. "Just doing it together and having a partner that is just so supportive and always makes me feel just like a princess all the time ... that it wasn't that bad," she said, praising Reum for his support.
