Pak Saint Arrested For Alleged Torture, Murder of 10-Yr-Old Helper

In a startling turn of events, Asad Shah Jeelani, a prominent member of the revered Pirs of Ranipur group in Pakistan, has been apprehended in connection with the tragic demise of a 10-year-old girl under his care, working as their domestic help.

The young victim, identified as Fatima Furiro, had been serving as domestic help at Jeelani's residence in Ranipur, a town nestled in Pakistan's Sindh province. The heartbreaking incident unfolded when Furiro's lifeless body was discovered within Jeelani's haveli, where she had been stationed to perform her duties.

The grieving mother of the deceased, Shabana Fariro, spoke out against the alleged perpetrators in a quote to Geo News, stating that her daughter was subjected to the worst form of torture for many days by the Pirs of Ranipur and died due to multiple injuries.

Authorities promptly acted on these serious allegations, registering a First Information Report (FIR) against Pir Asad Ali Shah and his wife, Hina, who is also known as Sonia Shah. The FIR was filed under Section 302 and other pertinent sections of the Pakistan Penal Code based on Shabana Fariro's formal complaint.
