'Please Have Some Shame': MMS Leaks Continue To Haunt Pakistani Influencers

In the series of 'tragedies unfolded by AI' and social media, the next victim is Pakistani host and influencer Mathira Mohammad. An X-rated private video of Mathira has been floating around the internet. 

She has finally risen up to clear the air and has said that the photos are in fact photoshopped and morphed. She also took this moment to urge people to have some shame. But is it the first time Pakistani creators have fallen prey to these wild leaks? 

Mathira's Private Video Leak

The morphed videos and images were released by an anonymous account on social media. They show the influencer in very compromising and demeaning positions and intend to harm her honour. 

After the explicit video took the social media and especially Reddit by a storm, Mathira took to twitter to clear the air around the issue. She has also registered a formal complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Mathira took to twitter (X) and wrote, "People are misusing my name and my photoshoot pictures, and adding fake stuff in; please have shame, and keep me out of this trashy nonsense."

A ray of redemption in people can be seen in the comment section where one user wrote "Take care dear." Another one wrote, "There is no excuse for this."

Mathira Muhammad is a 32 year old Pakistani TV host and influencer. Her content revolves around modelling, dancing, singing or anything trending. She has more than 2.5m instagram followers and close to 60k on X.

This unfortunate pattern started last year in October when Minahil Malik's intimate video with her boyfriend got leaked. The incident took such a toll on Malik that she decided to leave social media and waved a heart-wrenching digital goodbye at her 1.9m followers.

Following this incident, the next victim of this leak was TikToker Imsha Rehman. Her character and image were publicly scrutinized post the incident. She too deactivated her account and said, "Jab tak video viral hai, maine ID off kar di hai."
