A 16-year-old Pakistani-British girl broke a record by securing the top grade in 34 subjects at the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) level in London.
The girl, Mahnoor Cheema, was facilitated by former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif earlier this week in the United Kingdom.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed delight in meeting bright young minds like Mahnoor Cheema on X (formerly Twitter). "By securing A* in a wide range of subjects, from math and astronomy to French and Latin, Mahnoor has not only made all of us proud but has also set a great example for our children," read the post.
Facilitated By Former Pak PM and Minister
The former minister also added that success stories like Mahnoor Cheema’s would serve as inspiration for Pakistanis to pursue their dreams. He shared that he had met a number of brilliant and resilient students in the past decade, from Inam Ullah-Danish school to Malala, who are great inspirations for students from various backgrounds. He said that their exceptional success stories would definitely inspire Pakistanis to shine and achieve their dreams.

Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Mahnoor Cheema and her family to Stanhope House in the United Kingdom and presented her with an Apple MacBook Pro.
Dinner With Malala Yousafzai
Women’s Rights activist Malala Yousafzai hosted a dinner for Mahnoor Cheema and her family in London to celebrate the remarkable achievement. The Noble Peace Prize awardee described the teenager as a great inspiration to children in Pakistan and all over the world.
Malala Yousafzai congratulated Mahnoor Cheema on her X handle as well. "Your dedication, hard work, and intelligence are truly unmatched. I know you will continue to excel in your academics and all aspects of life," she wrote.
