Pakistan: 9 Family Members Shot Dead Over Marriage Dispute

In a shocking incident of gun violence in Pakistan, nine members of a family were killed by an unknown gunman assailant while the family was asleep. 

9 Family Members Shot Dead In Pakistan:

In Batkhela Tehsil of Pakistan, nine family members were found dead as after an unknown gunman barged into the house and indiscriminately opened fire while the members were asleep. 

The incident happened in the Malakand district of Batkhela tehsil where all nine members of the same family were found dead including three women and six men. The provincial paramilitary forces forced reached the crime scene and found the dead bodies of the murdered family shifting them to Batkhela Hospital for postmortem. 

The reason behind the killings has yet not been ascertained but local police suspect it to be a marriage dispute and close relatives of the deceased families are being inquired.

Police have started their investigation and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed to arrest the killers of the brutal killings. 

Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan has directed police to expedite their investigation and arrest the killers of the malicious act as soon as possible.

CM Khan said that the accused killers will be brought to justice and the victim's family will be given justice.

In a similar incident of a domestic dispute, a mother-in-law Radhika Devi shot her daughter-in-law dead in the Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The deceased daughter-in-law is identified as Komal who was sleeping when the accused shot her dead in the forehead. 

As per reports, Radhika Devi was aggrieved by the deceased for allegedly not doing household chores. The investigation also suspects the case of harassment over dowry and the difference between the status of the two families. 

In another horrific case, a man hacked his daughter-in-law to death after a family dispute.

The accused's two daughters-in-law were fighting when he attempted to intervene and was kicked by Priyanka Singh, the deceased. 

He then attacked his daughter-in-law with an axe and severed her head. He walked into the Kirawali police station in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, and surrendered to the police.
