She is not new to controversy, and this time Sunny Leone has landed in a bit of soup regarding an issue of national pride. On Thursday Leone was present at a pro-kabaddi match where she sang the Indian National Anthem. It all seemed to have gone well, but the twist came when news started doing the rounds that a legal complaint was registered in Delhi's New Ashok Nagar Police Station against the actress for singing the National Anthem incorrectly.

The complainant whose name is Ullas, has filed a complaint against the actress stating that if and when an actress of her stature and popularity will sing and pronounce the words of the Anthem incorrectly it will set a bad example for the youth of our nation, since she has a huge fan following, especially amongst that bracket of society. He further added that before going on air in front of the national television she should have practiced her words well.

Just last month Leone had tweeted about her rehearsals saying that " "In order to get all the words correct and pronunciation correct I had to hear what I'm singing. Been practicing on my own all month." Well, seems like her effort didn't impress the complainant too much. Incidentally, Amitabh Bachchan had rendered the National Anthem at the same event last year.
