Nushrratt Bharuccha has broken a world record by performing Ghoomar with 6000 women. This is the first time someone has created a record for the maximum number of people doing the traditional dance form together. The feat was accomplished during the promotions of her upcoming film Janhit Mein Jaari in Jaipur.
The record goes with the spirit of the film's tagline 'Ek Womaniya Sab Pe Bhaari'. She was seen with her co-star Anud Singh Dhaka posing with the woman dressed in traditional clothes for the Ghoomar performance and dancing with them. In a post shared by Viral Bhayani, thousands of women in traditional Rajasthani attire can be seen dancing together. Nushrratt can be seen wearing a beautiful purple lehenga-choli.

More about Janhit Mein Jaari
In the movie, Nushrratt essays the character of a young girl from Madhya Pradesh who sells condoms for a living despite societal resistance. She takes it up as an opportunity to teach her family, in-laws, and society at large an important lesson. The star cast of the film also includes Pavail Gulati, Annu Kapoor, and Paritosh Tripathi. It will hit theatres on June 10 and is directed by Jai Basantu Singh and produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnani, Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vimal Lahoti, Shradha Chandavarkar, Bunty Raghav, Rajesh Raghav and Mukesh Gupta, co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta in association with Shree Raghav Entertainment LLP.
It wasn't easy for Nushrratt to work on a film around this theme as she was getting heavily trolled for endorsing condoms in the film. But she gave it back to the trollers by saying, “Bass yehi soch toh badalni hai. Koi baat nahi, aap ungli uthao aur mein aawaz uthaungi (This is the type of thinking I want to change. But no worries, you point fingers at me and I will raise my voice)."
