Now Divya Bhatnagar's Brother Devashish Accuses Late Actress' Husband Of Torture, Says He Found A Note

Television actor Divya Bhatnagar passed away on Monday due to the complications arising from COVID-19. After Bhatnagar’s untimely demise her friend Devoleena Bhattacharjee posted a video in which she accused Bhatnagars’s husband of domestic violence and mental torture. Now, the deceased actor’s brother, Devashish Bhatnagar, has revealed that he found a note written by her in which she stated that her husband used to torture her.

"Gagan started torturing Divya physically and mentally soon after their marriage. She had written a note on November 7, in which she had stated that Gagan tortures and abuses her. We found the note in her cupboard yesterday. She had also approached the police and filed an NC on November 16 against him, following an episode of domestic abuse. I had told her to stay strong when I got to talk to her during her hospitalisation", Devashish told the Times of India.

Devashish Bhatnagar is currently busy with paperwork but he plans to take legal action against her deceased sister’s estranged husband, Gagan Gabru. Earlier in the video posted by Devoleena Bhattacharjee, she said, “I’m making this video because I have to talk about the mental stress and physical abuse that she had to suffer, and the man who is responsible for it.”

While blaming Gabru for the torture she vowed to expose him and warned all his girlfriends along with others who are contemplating to work with him to beware. She also alleged that Gabru has a molestation case registered against him in Shimla. Read more about this here.

Actor Divya Bhatnagar, who was popular for her work in the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tested positive for COVID-19 in November. She passed away on Monday after her condition became critical and she was shifted to the ventilator.
