After Kangana Ranaut, now actress Nayani Dixit has called out director Vikas Bahl's improper behaviour on the sets of 2014 film Queen. The actress who played the role of Ranaut's friend in the movie spoke to Bollywood Hungama.
"Whatever the girl has accused Vikas Bahl is not at all wrong because he also tried his hand on me. I literally told him that 'main tumhe maarungi if you do this again.' So I am sure he did the same with the girl in question as well," Nayani was quoted saying to Bollywood Hungama three days after the owners' decided to dissolve Phantom Films, due to the alleged sexual misconduct charges against co-owner Vikas Bahl.
Bahl, the director of the movie Queen, has been called out for harassment by a former Phantom Films employee, actor Kangana Ranaut and another unnamed actress. Now Nayani Dixit, who also acted in Queen, has accused the filmmaker of indecent behaviour during the shoot of the film. Dixit went on to say that “Doing Queen was the biggest mistake of my life”.
Nayani recounts, “They kept us in a 2-star hotel. When I said that I am not comfortable, Vikas told me that he can share his room with me. Look at his audacity!”
Dixit further added, "Next day, when I came on the sets, something went wrong with my hair. I didn't get it as it's not my area of concern. But Vikas blasted me and he behaved very weird with me. Now when I look back, I realized that why this behaviour. Since he did not get a chance on me, he was taking revenge."
According to Nayani, Vikas' conduct with several women on the sets was unacceptable. “We were shooting for the ‘London Thumakda’ song and in the crew, there was a 21-year-old local Delhi girl who was in the costume department. Vikas flirted even with her and she was very uncomfortable and she later confided to me that why this person is always behind me. Even Kangana Ranaut was witness to this drama and even she was taken aback. She remarked, ‘Tu pagal hai kya?’” she added.
In a recent interview with India Today, Kangana Ranaut too accused Vikas Bahl of misconduct on the sets of the film Queen. He has been accused of inappropriate behaviour by another actress, who alleged he "forcibly tried to kiss her."

Dixit also explained why she took so long to come out with her allegations. She said, “I did not say anything then. I was quiet at that time as firstly, I was alone. I did not know anyone neither from Phantom nor from the cast. Hence, I remained mum and decided to speak when the time is right. Now I thought that the time is right.”
One of the co-founders of Phantom Films, Vikramaditya Motwane tweeted on Sunday, "I'm truly sorry about what happened to the girl. Vikas Bahl is a sexual offender. He's preyed on a young woman, abused her trust, ruined her life. The scars are going to stay and that just isn't right."
