Wanted Rajasthan don Anuradha was arrested in Uttar Pradesh following the capture of fellow gangster Kala Jathedi, reports said Saturday. A special cell of the Delhi Police made the arrest.

The woman criminal had a reward of ten thousand rupees riding on her head and was the accused in a number of cases, including that of murder and extortion, as per a PTI report. A noted member of a gangster network operating around Rajasthan, Anuradha was a close associate of strongman Anandpal Singh who was killed in an alleged encounter in 2017.
Kala Jathedi's arrest, on the other hand, is a big one owing to the criminal cases against him and reported links to the Sushil Kumar case of a youth's death in a stadium brawl. The Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has been invoked against Jathedi.

According to Hindustan Times, the Rajasthan don group is allegedly spread across four states at least. The arrests of Anuradha and Jathedi reportedly came following a massive search extended over 12 states.
