The body of an eight-year-old child was discovered in a drain located in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district on July 7. The Gautam Budh Nagar police were subsequently notified and launched an investigation. Following their inquiries, the police arrested a 45-year-old woman, her 53-year-old male friend, and two additional individuals on Wednesday. The arrests were made on charges of murdering the woman's own eight-year-old son, as confirmed by the police.
As per the police investigation, it has been revealed that the child allegedly witnessed his mother in a compromising position with her male friend. Disturbed by this, the child reportedly threatened to disclose the incident to others. Subsequently, the woman, along with her male friend, her brother-in-law, and her stepdaughter's father-in-law, conspired to murder the child. This information has emerged as authorities delve deeper into the case.
Noida Mother Kills Son To Hide Affair
According to Anil Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida), on July 5, Kalyan Singh (50), the father of the boy and a resident of Jon Samena village, lodged a missing person complaint at Badalpur police station. Singh reported that his son had not returned home since July 2. In response, an FIR was registered under Section 363 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code against unknown individuals. Police teams were subsequently deployed to search for the missing child.

As per the officer's statement, their investigation revealed that the boy's mother, Bhuri, was engaged in an extramarital affair with Ompal Singh, a neighbour from Greater Noida who works as a keyman in the Railways. On the night of June 28, the child allegedly witnessed Bhuri and Ompal together. Fearing that the child would expose their relationship to his father, the couple purportedly conspired to murder him. Their motivation stemmed from concerns about being shamed within their families and community.
