Senior journalist and news anchor Rajdeep Sardesai took to Twitter on Wednesday to share the news of the untimely demise of Shivani Dua, who had reportedly been battling COVID-19 for a few days but succumbed to the disease in Delhi recently. A graphic producer, Dua was only 41 years old.
"In tv news journey over last 30 years, many young producers have been at the core. Hard working, ever smiling, they were the backbone of a news wheel. Shivani Dua was a talented graphic producer, only 41.. too young to die: always remember your cheery presence. RIP. Om Shanti," tweeted senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai.

My god! Spoke to her the day she got admitted and she sent me messages from the emergency ward. I thought she would be fine. Little did I know that day before when she didn’t reply to my message, she was fighting her last battle. That’s not done young lady. Shocked. Rest In Peace
