During the hearing of an adoption case in New Mexico, while the court was about to finalise the legal adoption process, the five-year-old boy to be adopted stood up to say a really heartwarming speech, addressing her new mom-to-be.
The incident took place on October 27 in the New Mexico courtroom during the hearing of Jennifer Hubby's adoption case for five-year-old Cameron. The court was about to finalise the adoption when Cameron asked if he could say a few words. He had prepared a short speech for his mother and reportedly said, "I just want to say that I love my mom so much and that she's the best mom I've ever had and I love her so much". His words made the heartwarming moment special and memorable for Hubby and she said that she will never forget it.

New Mexico Boy Adoption Speech Leaves Everyone In Awe
The case was being presided over by Judge Cheryl H. Johnston who was touched by the little boy's gesture and talked about the importance of expressing your love for people. The judge reportedly said, "And so you're a lucky guy so I'm glad to see you. And I'm glad you love them. That's what we're supposed to be doing. It's a good thing." There is also a video clip from the hearing which shows Jennifer Hubby crying on listening to Cameron's speech.
Cameron is the biological son of Jennifer Hubby's wife Kim Hubby's previous marriage and has been with them since the very beginning. He was a part of the family but was not legally recognised which concerned her as she thought she might be able to protect him. Years of planning and a six-month-long process went into getting him legally recognised as her son. The stepparent adoption process is very complicated and they did not have the financial stability to initiate it in the early years of Kim and Jennifer's relationship. The boy calls Kim Hubby 'mom' and Jennifer Hubby 'mamma'.
Cameron's kindergarten class celebrated this big day by presenting him with a celebratory card with their signatures on it. The family, now legally recognised, is back in their home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
