Board Exams 2021: As the number of COVID cases dramatically rises in the country, students and parents are requesting the government to either cancel or postpone the board examinations. While CBSE is refusing to reschedule the examinations, netizens are showing their rage on the internet as the hashtag #cancelboardexams2021 goes trending on Twitter.
The CBSE board exams are scheduled to begin on May 4, 2021. However, parents, teachers, and students are requesting the Government to cancel the exam or hold it in online mode, considering the recent surge of Covid cases in the country.
However, the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) is still determined to conduct the examinations in offline mode as per the schedule.
Netizens took to Twitter to protest against the decision of the board using the hashtag #cancelboardexam2021 which is currently trending on Twitter.
Nevertheless, the board has warned miscreants not to circulate old notices that can mislead students of classes 10 and 12 who will be appearing for the CBSE board exams.
"There are some persons deliberately trying to create confusion about board exams by circulating old news of 1.4.20 regarding X and XII exams. Students should ignore this old circular of last year and not be misled," the CBSE said.

Another comic that has gone viral shows a man who is titled 'government' dragging a blindfolded student inside a cave that is titled 'Exams'. The picture shows how the Government wants to risk the lives of students by making them sit for the offline examinations.

Although CBSE is being called out for their decision to not cancel the scheduled exam, the Board has claimed to be taking ample safety precautions. A second chance will be given to students who could not appear for the practical exams for classes 10 or 12.
The board has issued a statement in their circular that says, "if any candidate is absent in practical because of being COVID positive or any family member reported COVID positive, the school will conduct the practical exams of such candidates at an appropriate time in consultation with the concerned regional office but latest by June 11."
