1. Family Background

Growing up in a Marwari family, there was a noticeable distinction between the treatment of male and female children in the household. For instance, Kashiramka's brother consistently received more toys and gifts from their grandmother. Society would frequently advise her parents to restrain their daughter and prevent her from taking charge of her life. However, her parents had complete trust in her ability to make her own life choices.

2. Marriage

When it came time for Kashiramka to settle down, every young man her parents met had a condition: they did not want a wife who worked. However, Kashiramka was resolute that she wouldn't let her education go to waste. She firmly believed that the decision to work or not after marriage should be entirely hers and not imposed on her.

In a bold move, Kashiramka managed to find her prospective husband's phone number in the Yellow Pages and communicated her perspective on continuing to work after marriage. He deeply appreciated her honesty, and they eventually got married.

3. Beginning Of A Career

In 1997, after becoming a certified chartered accountant, Kashiramka started her career as an assistant manager in the accounts department at Kewal Kiran Clothing. After a few years in that role, she transitioned to Jyothy Laboratories, where she solidified her career, dedicating over 17 years to the company.

Her subsequent career move took her to Greaves Cotton, and after a couple of years there, she embarked on her journey at VIP Industries, where her career has skyrocketed.

4. Awards & Achievements

In 2008, Kashiramka received the CA Young Corporate Leader Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in recognition of her leadership in spearheading an IPO at the young age of 32.
