The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday raided comedian Bharti Singh's residence in Mumbai, news agency ANI reported. Reports also claim that the agency summons Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa as a part of its ongoing probe into alleged drug abuse in Bollywood.

According to sources, Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa have been accused of consuming banned substances by a drug peddler arrested by NCB on Friday. Following the accusation, Singh's house, which is located in Andheri area of Mumbai, was searched by the agency officials.
Reports also suggest that NCB has recovered a "small quantity of cannabis" during a search of their Mumbai residence this morning. "She and her husband both have been detained for questioning by NCB about possession of narcotics substances," says Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director, NCB Office, Mumbai.

Singh has previously worked in several reality shows on television including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Nach Baliye. The couple who tied the knot on December 3, 2017 are currently hosting the reality show India's Best Dancer together.

In past few weeks raids have been conducted by NCB at residences of big names associated with Bollywood including actor Arjun Rampal and film producer Firoz Nadiadwala. These raids are in connection with the investigation in the drug abuse angle of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death in June.
