Aaliya, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's estranged wife, recorded her statement before a magistrate in Muzzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh on her complaint against the actor and his four family members. She reiterated her allegation that Nawazuddin's brother had molested a family member in 2012.
The actor's wife visited Budhana police station from Mumbai. She had registered the case on July 27 at a police station in Mumbai. The case was then transferred to Budhana on the grounds that the place of crime came under the jurisdiction of Budhana police station.

Aaliya got her statements recorded before the POSCO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) court under section 164 of the CrPC ( recording of confessions and statements), reported PTI.
Previous Actions By Aaliya against Siddiqui
On May 6, this year, Aaliya filed for divorce which was followed by the Raat Akeli Hai actor Siddiqui sending a legal notice to her. She was also accused by Siddiqui's lawyer of maligning the actor's name in media. At that time, she claimed that Nawazuddin has stopped paying her a monthly allowance to take care of their children to which Siddiqui's lawyer replied that his client was paying the EMI and had attached screenshots of payment details with the claim.

Aaliya, later in July, further accused Siddiqui of infidelity. In an interview with Pinkvilla, she alleged that Nawaz used to have women over when she was expecting their first child. She further added that most of the news about infidelity used to come through Siddiqui's brother Shamas, The Hindustan Times reported.
