Nagpur couple suicide: A 15-year-old girl and her 26-year-old boyfriend reportedly died by suicide in Dumrikala village in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. The couple took the step after the former’s family opposed to their relationship as the girl was a minor.
According to Times Now, last week, the man identified as Sohan Devdhagle went to meet his girlfriend’s family. However, the family disapproved of the alliance since their daughter was still a minor. Following the incident, the two took the decision to kill themselves.
This week, the couple reportedly consumed poison and were found dead at Devdhagle’s residence inside a bathroom. They were immediately rushed to a hospital. The young girl was pronounced dead by the medics and Devdhagle was referred to a Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Nagpur. Later, he was pronounced dead at GMCH.
As per a report by The Times of India, a case of accidental death has been registered by the police.

In yet another incident, a 19-year-old girl reportedly died by suicide on June 12 in Coimbatore after an acquaintance blackmailed her of morphing her intimate pictures. In connection to the death, the accused along with his mother was arrested by the police.
The accused, identified as Kesava Kumar, used to meet the teenage girl while travelling on a bus. During their meeting, they often took selfies together, the police stated.
According to the India Today report, Kumar allegedly asked for money from the teen and threatened her about releasing her morphed photos on social media.
Last month, a school principal in Gujarat’s Chhota Udepur district was found dead at a government school. The deceased was identified as Bhavnaben Damor allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself from the window railings at her school on the morning of June 30.
