"What I write decides their results and their future. Hence I am alert and conscious when I scribe exams. I stay calm even as the candidate gets tense at the exam hall. It's my passion to write exam for others and that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes, I have to repeat a question 30-40 times to make sure the candidate understands it thoroughly," says Pushpa.

What compelled her to do this is another heart-warming tale. Pushpa told TOI that when she was young, she was thrown out of the exam hall as her family couldn't afford to pay fees. However, she could resume her studies because of some Good Samaritans. Pushpa feels it is her turn to give back to society.

It feels great to see women like N M Pushpa who understand the pivotal importance of education. Being at the brink of being deprived of it at some point of her life in the past, she is ensuring that she assists others in completing theirs smoothly. Such people are definitely a boon to society.
