'Russian Kha Milegi', Youth Holds Placard At Muzaffarnagar College

The derogatory term objectifying and shaming Russian women as "Russian" has been casually passed around the Internet. The youth think it's funny but no, it is not, instead it is demeaning. One such incident from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh has come to light when a video surfaced on the internet. A boy was roaming around on a college campus with a placard that reads "Muzaffarnagar me Russian Kaha Milegi?" translating as "Where can I get a Russian in Muzaffarnagar?"

The shameful incident took place in Shri Ram College of Muzaffarnagar. The video was shared by a Twitter user Priya Singh dispising the boy's behaviour and questioning the youth and students of the nation. While another Twitter user Arvind Chauhan confirmed the boy's arrest by police as he quoted the tweet along with sharing the videos calling the boy "numbskull for a few likes on reels."

For likes on reels, this numbskull was roaming with a placard that read, "Need #Russian (girl) in #Muzaffarnagar" outside girls' college. Now local police have arrested him.

On Twitter, users felt it was "just a joke", but others found it objectionable and asked the local police to take immediate action on the boy. 

In the video, the boy can be seen roaming around the campus of a college in a casual outfit while he holds the placard with derogatory terms with a smile. In the video, other boys wearing uniforms can be seen smiling as they look at him.

As the video went viral on the internet, the police swung into action and arrested the boy. The netizens demanded strict actions against the boy. Later, police tweeted that the legal actions against the boy have been taken by the New Mandi Police station in the case.
