In a shocking incident from Madhya Pradesh, an elderly woman was raped by a stranger who offered her a lift on his motorcycle. The man did not take her to her destination and instead led to an isolated place and allegedly sexually abused her.
Women have felt unsafe in our society from a very long time now. The streets, colleges, workplace, public places, even homes are not completely devoid of any threat. Whether it comes to physical abuse or mental torture, they have been subjected to a lot of oppression over centuries. However, in today's world, even the young aged and elderly woman are not safe from the lustful eyes of some disgusting animals. From newborn to senior citizens, the sexual abusers do not discriminate in the age of women. A recent example is the rape case from Madhya Pradesh.

MP 90-Year-Old Woman Rape Case
A 90-years-old woman was raped in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol, while she was in town to visit her relatives. The woman was from Jabalpur and arrived at Shahdol railway station on January 12. Her relatives lived at a distance of about 15 kilometers from district headquarters and since she landed on Thursday night, she decided to spend the night at the station. On Friday morning, she reportedly took an autorickshaw that took her to the main road of Antra village.
Since the house of her relatives was at a distance from main road, the rickshaw driver allegedly told her to take another ride to reach their home. While she was waiting for a ride or bus, a man on motorcycle approached her and allegedly offered her a ride to her relative's home. However, instead of taking her to the village, he took her to an isolated place and raped her. After the deed, he took her back to the main road from where he picked her up and left her there.
When she reached her relative's home, she told everything that happened to her and her family approached the nearest police station and filed a case against the unidentified biker under the sections for rape and other offences of the Indian Penal Code. The woman was admitted to the hospital and the police is currently searching for the accused.
