A 27-year-old woman and her baby died in Mamura, Noida, during delivery at a quack clinic. The clinic owner reportedly dumped their bodies outside the clinic and is now on the run. It is being reported that the clinic was being run without a licence.
A police team reached the clinic promptly but the owner had absconded by then. Central Noida’s Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankur Aggarwal said, “The police have registered a case of causing death due to negligence against the absconding woman quack and launched a manhunt to nab her.”

According to NDTV, the clinic owner shut the clinic and fled from the spot soon after the incident.
The deceased woman's husband works in a private firm. They lived in a rented accommodation in the Mamura area of Noida reported The New Indian Express.
An FIR has been lodged at the Phase 3 police station under the Indian Penal Code section 304A for causing death by negligence against the fake doctor. Further proceedings are underway in the case, the police said.

In August this year, a woman had died while delivering a baby in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut. Her family went on to allege medical negligence on part of the hospital staff.
“A woman named Neetu was scheduled to deliver her baby at a private hospital. Today, on August 30, the police received information that the mother and the child both died. We have told their relatives to file a complaint, based on which appropriate action will be taken,” Circle Officer (CO) Anil Kumar Rai told ANI.
