Viral Video: 6-Year-Old Mizoram Girl Sings National Anthem With Soldiers In Video

Esther Hnamte, a 6-year-old Mizo girl, became popular on social media, again after her last year's video in which she was found singing the national anthem while wearing an army uniform with soldiers. 

The northeastern state is seen in several exquisite scenes in Esther's video, and one could hear local musicians playing a variety of instruments in the background. In the video, the girl marches with the soldiers while wearing her uniform.

Harsh Goenka, the chairperson of RPG Enterprises, as well as others, re-shared the video from 2021, which they described as "beyond beautiful."

"Indian Army recorded this beautiful rendition of our national anthem with a 6 yr old girl Esther from Mizoram. Mesmerizing!" Harsh Goenka captioned the video he shared on his Twitter.

While everyone applauded the video, calling it a 'beautiful rendition,' others also mentioned that it should be played in all theatres.

With more than 300K viewers, Goenka uploaded the video yesterday as netizens celebrated the country's 75th Independence Day.

"Beauty in the way it is played. Promote music at the national level. It integrates the country more," said one user while another conveyed, "Her tender voice is fragile but yet so sweet to hear. A very adorable little child."

IP lawyer and strategist, Safir Anand also said, "Beautiful things that make India so complete. This beautiful kid from Mizoram is worth the whole country’s love for her lovely and innocent singing." 

When Esther performed a modern rendition of Vande Mataram, in 2020, the ">video quickly went viral. The youngster received accolades from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter.

Regarding the girl's rendition of the national anthem, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi commented, "Adorable and admirable! Proud of Esther Hnamte for this rendition."

Esther often uploads her covers of different songs to her over 5 lakh YouTube fans. Last year, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga, who adored her singing, also posted the same video.
