Mithali Raj & Others Prepare For Test Against England After 7 Years Hiatus
The Indian women's team captain said that she took the advice of other cricketers in light of preparing for the longest format of the one-off Test against England starting on June 16.

Raj who has played just the 10 longest format matches in a career of 12 years so far said, "I have played lesser Tests than ODI and T20, I would have liked more Test matches. I wouldn’t really get down to thinking whether my game is evolved in this format, but the preparation has been very similar" at the match-eve virtual press conference.
The Indian women's team captain said that she took the advice of other cricketers in preparing for the longest format of the one-off Test against England starting on June 16.
Moreover, she said that talking to her the other players and getting to know their way of preparation was her way of preparing for the upcoming test match. She added that she would not desire "rookie players to be burdened with expectations" and would advise them to enjoy the game.
England Vs India Test Match Format
Addressing the possibility of the introduction of distinct formats into the world of cricket, she said that any modern-day cricketer would want to play Test cricket because "it is the format that really tests the skills of a player".
Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja, commonly known as Ravindra Jadeja, took to his official Twitter account to wish the payers luck in their upcoming match and mentioned the fact that "it feels great that we will be able to witness our women's team competing in Test cricket after seven years."
Along with Jadeja, Shubhman Gill and Umesh Yadav also wished the women's team luck.
